Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or oregano

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • Optional: pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika for extra flavor


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Pat chicken dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

  3. Mix spices in a small bowl and rub evenly over the chicken thighs.

  4. Place chicken skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  5. Cook for 12 minutes, then flip and cook another 10–12 minutes.

  6. Check internal temperature—it should reach 165°F (74°C).

  7. Rest 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite sides!

Notes

  • Use boneless thighs for faster cooking (reduce time by 5 minutes).

  • Want it extra crispy? Cook at 400°F for the final 2–3 minutes.
