- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1–2 jalapeños, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the canned tuna and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chopped avocado, cilantro, tomato, and red onion to the bowl.
- If using, add the jalapeños for a spicy kick.
- Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the seasoning as needed.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
